After a fight her mother ships her off to grandma for the summer.Desperate to know about her dad she lets the neighbor talk her into delving in witchcraft. That when Wesley appears and tells her all the things she wants to hear. She hides her cutting and Wesley from everyone until it is evident she can get rid of Wesley alone. Her mother doesn't believe her but her grandmother does.Mackenzie finds hope to chase away the evil that plagues her. She just need to call on the name of Jesus.

Torn between Isaac and Tanner,Kenzie is confused about her feelings for both. She lets this consume her, clouding her thinking. The one person Kenzie has prayed to know and love her appears in her life and wants to get to know her.Despite her mother's warnings, she meets with her dad on several occasions.Thinking he really wanted to get to know her,she trusts him,a decision that may destroy her.Can Kenzie see the truth about her dad before it is too late? Will her indecision about the two boys cause her to lose both of them? Will Kenzie recognize the evil that is still chasing her and realize that she must stand and fight it once and for all so she can finally live in peace?

Prowl Trilogy has been on my desk and it kept calling out to me all week.So I picked it up this morning and finished it tonight.I was reminded I have the power to overcome,I am loved and all need to do is call out to Jesus, that His name is power against the darkness.Prowl is like a modern day Frank Peretti book.I knew since I read This Present Darkness/Piercing the Darkness that there is a spiritual war going on around us but it took a backseat in my mind. Thanks for reminding me to stop sitting on the sidelines and get back in the war.
