Monica Murphy's HIS REVERIE

I knew from the moment I first saw her she was the one. The only girl I could ever want.
The only girl I could ever love.
She is light.
I am darkness.
She is innocent.
I’ve done too much.
She is good.
I am bad.
She is my every dream.
I should be her every nightmare.
We come from different worlds. She’s…perfect. And I’m…
Not.
Somehow she wants me anyway. So we’ll grasp at what we can. We’re going to make this summer count. She’s my secret. And I’m hers.
The problem with secrets is they never last for long. And when others discover we’re together, they’ll do whatever it takes to keep us apart. All I know is: I won’t let them.
Because Reverie Hale? She’s mine.

Review:

I do not even know how I feel right now.I think I want to cry and I know I definitely want to ask Monica why she had to write such an riveting story with a killer cliffhanger.Like really,I'm like 2 seconds away of begging her for book 2: His Destiny and asking her why she had to make it a 2 part story! I fell in love with Reverie and Nick right away. They are both sweet loving characters that don't think they are good enough for each other.Reverie thinks Nick isn't going to want a innocent inexperienced girl who doesn't know the first think about flirting or relationships because her parents have kept her in a sheltered lifestyle that she is desperate to break free from. Plus he's the hired hand for the summer, what would he want with a bratty rich girl right? But Nick doesn't see her that way,at least he trying not to see her a privileged  girl but he is so insecure about his past and his lowely social status that he thinks he is so under Reverie that he doesn't deserve her.Now if they want their relationship to work out they have to figure out how to get over their hangups of low self esteem and fear of loosing each other and getting hurt before that is what happens and they end up pushing each other away.Especially when Nick's jealous ex-girlfriend threatens to rat them out to Reverie's parents and all hell breaks loose sending Nick's life crashing around him once again.
