~Review of Touching Eternity by Airicka Phoenix~

Airicka has a way with descriptive words that is amazing, they captivated me from the first sentence! It has me crying but I think I feel for Amalie is because it hits kinda close to home.My heart went out to both Amalie and Isaiah. The themes written in this story are harsh but it does happen everyday even though we don't see it.I truly enjoyed reading this book.It takes a lot of courage to write books like this and I applaud Airicka for venturing out and writing it. I am still reeling from the ending!
Isaiah promised never to leave Amalie but he broke that promise. Now he has to find a way to reconcile that wrong decision, but it isn't going to be easy to face the woman whose heart he broke.Garrison,Amalie's father is trying to cure her of mental illness.Isaiah believes her father has he best interest at heart. In actuality,Garrison only cares about his research.Thing start to unravel as Garrison is scrutinized by his colleagues. Isaiah must find a way to protect Amalie at all cot,but will that cost mean someone loses their life?

Due to sensitive matters portrayed throughout the novel, Touching Eternity (Touch Series, book 1.5) is rated 18+ (Adult)

An Erris Coven Novel: Book 2

From Bonnie Erina Wheeler, the author who brought you Fate Fixed, comes the second installment in the Erris Coven Series, Blood Twist.

Find out what happens to the Erris Coven when Lexie's BFF Liz comes to town.

Braden Murphy knew he was going to die. There was a twist to his family secret – one that was forced upon him from the time he was a child. For years he envisioned his final days and tried to be strong enough to leave his family. Now that it was time, he was ready to make good on a deadly promise. Except for one unexpected glitch, a raven haired beauty insisted on joining him.

Liz Sanders thought her best friend’s stepfamily was weird, but she never would have guessed they were werewolves. Now Liz must travel with a secretive half-vampire in search of a lycanthropy cure. Landing in a nest full of blood thirsty vampires wasn’t on the agenda, but neither was falling in love.

Braden is tempting, but Liz’s feelings for him are complicated. She wishes he would open up about his past and give her a reason to trust him.

Just when Liz thinks she can let her guard down, she’s forced to confront the evil that has been stalking Braden’s past for years. Death is here and ready to destroy everything they've fought to save.

Top 10 Best Books in 2012:Best Books I’ve Read in 2012

I read many great books this year.Since I can only name 10 I am listing whole series/trilogies if I read all the book this year. These are in no particular order because that would be too hard to do.

1~The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout
*I don't usually read alien books, but I have to see what all the rave was about.I was not disappointed! Great YA Paranormal Romance. Not too alien creepy, but like other YA Paranormal Romance books,The Lux Series takes high school kids and adds a little paranormal(this case~alien) and romance ( with plenty of action and relationship troubles that eventually lead to them finally admitting their feelings for each other).Of course, like so many others, our poor lovebirds can't seem to be able to be totally happy because every time things start to work out something else goes terribly wrong. This however, makes for a great story

2~ Of Darkness and Light by Lilly Crussell

*Love Angel Books and fell in love with this story by such a great  author, who love like sister! Yes it is a YA Paranormal Romance but there is a lot more to the story than just the love of a human and an angel.Plus it has a action and suspense!

3~The Mayfair Moon Trilogy by J. A. Redmerski

*As with the alien books,I don't usually read strictly werewolf books but I got this one for free and fell in love with it.Of course I had to have book 2,which didn't disappoint.

4~Guardian Series by Gillian Joy

*This story has many paranormal creatures plus a special appointed person to keep them all in line.Of course we have some who like to cause trouble but makes for an interesting story. There is some romance in this story but it is complicated.

5~Dazzle by Amber Garza

*Another author I adore for her dedication to her fans and her giving and caring heart. Her other book she wrote have been Teen Christian books but this is her first YA Paranormal Romance. It is about a group of special kids who are called to fulfill a purpose that will one day safe their people. But first they must keep themselves alive.

6~The Brookehaven Vampires by Joann I. Martin Sowles

*This was the first book I bought when I received my kindle last Christmas. It was only $0.99 and I love vampires.I glad I did get it and quickly bought book 2 as soon as I finished book 1.I had to wait 10 months for book 3,while that was agonizing, it was worth it.There are more than just vampires in this series and my book 3 there are some surprising paranormal creatures that appear. The is of course romance plus very must edge of your seat action and when you think you figured everything out or nothing else could happen, there is another twist.

7~ Haunted Moon Series by K.B. Miller

*Another favorite author that I adore. She is so funny and witty. You can see for yourself if you check her vlogs. I don't read many book with witches but I hell in love with the Moons and their history. It is very intriguing and there are also vampires int his story.Discover the truth behind their feud and who will survive, who will betray, and who will be an unexpected ally.

8~Flutter by Melissa Andrea

*I applaud this author, when you think another paranormal creature can not be thought up,Melissa creates a brand new fresh on the scene paranormal creature.Trying to keep her safe by keeping the truth from her may just be the one thing that breaks her.All she wants is to be normal, but how can you be normal if you really aren't. And then this guy pops into you life and crazy things start to happen. But can she keep the changes that are happening to herself or is it just her imagination?

9~Touching Eternity by Airicka Phoenix

*I was amazed by this author's use of descriptive words. She paints a vivid picture of each scene. This book, unlike almost all books I read, is +18.Due to the nature of the theme. It touches on subjects not usually openly discussed but happens daily. While people may not live in this way, after all it is fictional, people do experience feelings and thoughts that our main character does.I applaud her for taking the risk of writing this book knowing it isn't for everyone.I love this girl to death, she knows how to brighten anyone's day!

10~Torn Souls by Crystal Cattabriga

*This is another author that I adore and I admire her ability to write a book on bulling. It is a hard subject that many deal with on a daily bases. This book gives hope to them that things can change. It takes one person to step up and take action to make the change.I hope we can take some of the ideas in this book and make them real.
