Review: The Boy From The Woods by Jen Minkman

Jen brought a fresh idea to fantasy genre. There are many books that Incorporated nature elements into the story but I haven't read one quite like this.It is love beautiful story.I really enjoyed this book. The story takes place in Austria so it took me a little while to get use to the culture portrayed in the book.Once my American brain came to terms with the culture,it embraced the story.
Julia is heartbroken when the boy she has dreamed about being with for the last two years, goes on a date with her then leaves her acting like what occurred between them was him doing her a favor. So yes,Micheal is a big jerk with a capital J.One evening walking through the woods she loves,Julia stumbles upon a body.Micheal has wreaked on his scooter and has an awful head would. When he wakes from his concussion Micheal is not himself. He has done a total 180 personality change. He is kind, thoughtful, and caring. He also is suddenly giving Julia attention he never gave her before. This throws her for a loop, she can't figure him out.Now she must decide if she will trust him not to turn back to mean Micheal and break her heart again or if she give the cold shoulder.Time will tell if their relationship will blossom as Julia tries to put the clues together to figure out why Micheal has had such a dramatic change of attitude.
