 Review:
I am not sure what I expected from this story but it was definitely not what I got.It's a story of fate,love,lose,secrets,lies,and finding yourself.And anything you think you know about paranormal creatures will be blown out the water.Konstanz adds a new twist on the nature of these creatures.It is an interesting concept.The only problem I had was it was never fully explained the nature of the relationship between a vampire and werewolf. It alludes to their connection but doesn't go in dept enough to fully explain it.I really enjoyed this story and all the twist and turns.I caught myself gasping and saying "I didn't see that coming" out loud then sitting in shock while I processed the new info.I can only image the shock and emotional turmoil Christina and Riley have to go through as they discover who they really are.There are times I want to just sit and cry with her.But she pulls herself through and never gives up.She overcomes adversity and takes control of her life  in order to try and defeat an ultimate evil.

A mythical love story crossed with religious beliefs.Jeanette lost her best friend,Timmy when they were 10.Now 7 years later and a senior in high school,Jeanette will face her fear when she crosses paths with fictional creatures she reads about and accidentally stumbles into their world.She is plagued with threats of death,wavering friendships,unexplainable feelings,and a past mistake she can't forgive herself for.After meeting Tamrin her life takes a drastic turn.Tamrin must repay the Summer Queen for his mistake of letting Jeanette pick one of the Queen's precious roses.The price the Queen requires: one human heart.As Tamrin sets out to devise a plan to get that heart from Jeanette,he soon realizes taking her heart is not possible,at least not literally.He wants her heart to love not to kill her to repay the Queen.The Queen,Roxel,is very possessive of Tamrin and devises a plan of her own out of jealousy to cohorts him to be done with his human girl and return to her.Things don't go as she hoped they would and in a fit of rage she retaliates tearing Tamrin and Jeanette apart.Are they doomed to never be together? Or can they find a way to defeat Roxel and finally live in happiness? There are many twists and turns and a few surprises along the way.Some I things I could guess early on and wondered why they could not all the pieces together but I'm an outside looking in and I see the whole picture.It takes them a while before they grasp the truth and not everything is obvious even to the reader.

10 favorite Greek Mythology Movies

So I had a kind of hard time thinking of Greek mythology movies. It's a very specific top ten list. Consequently, this list is not in any particular order. But all of the movies are worth watching :)

1) Hercules! The disney version. Obviously sarcastic Hades made an impression on me.

2) Clash of the Titans, the origional. It's a classic therefore it must be watched.

3) Percy Jackson movies. Not very loyal to the plot, but still entertaining to watch

4) Troy. That one was worth watching just for the eye candy if nothing else

5) My Fair Lady. It's based on the Pygmailion Myth. Love Audrey Hepburn

6) Beauty and the Beast. I'm not stretching here, it's the Persephone myth.

7) Hercules the TV show, yeah not a movie, but a huge influence on my childhood and Greek mythology related

8) Zena the TV show. Loved Ares. Strong female lead character. Great show all round.

9) I don't know the name of this one, but it's another Pygmalion myth. This little girl wants a mom for Christmas and a dummy in the mall comes to life. I saw it every Christmas growing up.


10) The Hunger Games. Not stretching here, there are a ton of elements from The Hunger Games that ties to Greco/Roman culture and mythology.
