And here is the synopsis. WARNING, it does contain spoilers for both DARK SHORES & DARK SKIES

Lydia returns to Mudaire to enter training at the healing temple. But instead of fighting to save lives, she’s convinced she is doing more harm than good. She delves into the history of the gods only to discover a truth that will change her life forever.

His birthright as commander of the Royal Army is finally in his grasp, but Killian feels anything but victorious. Burdened by his past, he embraces the darker side of his mark—and in doing so, risks starting a war.

Having defeated the tyrant Urcon, Marcus struggles to form a lasting alliance with the Arinoquians. But he is plagued by the knowledge that there is a traitor among his friends, and it could cost him everything that he’s fought for.

Torn between her growing allegiance to the Thirty-Seventh legion and her need to liberate her people, Teriana finds herself mired in a web of secrets. She embarks upon a path that will either save everyone she loves—or put them all in their graves.

I'm so excited for the continuation of this series! The cover is stunning! Can't wait to add it to my collection!

Larken is a natural born sprinter, but even she can’t outrun the darkness closing in. A shelter-in-place order has been issued, causing widespread panic. Considered a traitor by his own kind, only Aries has the power to stand against the Zodia. But he can’t do it alone. Royal Decoy (Fate of Eyrinthia, #1)

by Heather Frost
Release Date: June 18th 2020
Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance
 photo addtogoodreadssmall_zpsa2a6cf28.png

A SERVANT blackmailed into becoming a princess’s decoy.
A BODYGUARD determined to keep her alive.

A PRINCE forced to execute his father’s brutal laws.
A PRISONER used to keep him compliant.

A WORLD on the brink of war.

In one horrible night, Clare goes from kitchen maid to royal decoy. She has three months to become the princess's perfect double so she can ensure her betrothal to an enemy prince. Desperate to survive, Clare throws herself into self-defense training, taught by her distractingly attractive bodyguard. The danger increases when a ruthless assassin begins stalking her, intent on ending the tenuous peace.

Across the northern mountains, Prince Grayson is his father’s ultimate weapon. He carries out the king’s harsh orders because the one person he cares about is his father’s prisoner. Grayson's silent obedience is tested when his father plans to exploit the marriage alliance between two of their greatest enemies. If Grayson submits, the blood of thousands will spill. If he resists, the girl who means everything to him will die.

The fate of Eyrinthia hangs in the balance. Some want peace. Some want war. All will be thrown into chaos.

An intriguing story of deceit, love, duty, and mystery. I love the princess decoy plot,I instantly had a Star Wars flashback to when Padme used a decoy because she was being hunted by assassins,so of course I had to read this story! But the author entwines a complex storyline of characters that keeps you glued to every page!

Heather Frost writes mostly YA fiction and has a soft spot for tortured characters, breath-stealing romance, and happy endings. She is the author of the Seers trilogy. She has a BS in Creative Writing and a minor in Folklore, which means she got to read fairy tales and ghost stories and call it homework.

When she’s not writing, Heather likes to read, travel, and hold Lord of the Rings movie marathons. She owns two typewriters, sings in the car, and dreams of living in a castle someday. She currently lives in a beautiful valley surrounded by towering mountains in the wilds of Utah.

Little Tea byClaire FullertonTitle: Little Tea
Author: Claire Fullerton
Publisher: Firefly Southern Fiction

Genre: Southern Fiction

Southern Culture ... Old Friendships ... Family Tragedy

One phonecall from Renny to come home and “see about” the capricious Ava and Celia Wakefielddecides to overlook her distressful past in the name of friendship.

For three reflective days at Renny’s lake house in Heber Springs, Arkansas, the three childhood friendsreunite and examine life, love, marriage, and the ties that bind, even though Celia’s personal story hasyet to be healed. When the past arrives at the lake house door in the form of her old boyfriend, Celiamust revisit the life she’dtried to outrun.

As her idyllic coming of age alongside her best friend, Little Tea, on her family’s ancestral grounds inbucolic Como, Mississippi unfolds, Celia realizes there is no better place to accept her own story than inthis circle offriends who have remained beside her throughout the years. Theirs is a friendship that cantalk any life sorrow into a comic tragedy, and now that the racial divide in the Deep South has evolved,Celia wonders if her friendship with Little Tea can triumph over history.
This is the first book by the author and I truly enjoyed and this will definitely not be the read by her. A group of childhood friends come together and you're taken back through time as they revist the past and work through issues with understanding. I love how the author fleshed out the story touching on issues of racism, relationships, class, coming of age, heartache and friendship all with gentleness and heartfelt conversations between these friends and families. Experience the dual timeline of these friends as you glimpse their present and revist their past.
