But I also love the occasional coffee date with one of my besties or my daughter and with my twin sister when she's in town. I grew drinking coffee with my MomMom when I slept over at her house, she'd give us what we call coffee milk. This explains why I grew up to being a more sugar and milk with a bit if coffee gal that a bit of sugar and milk in my coffee. However, these days I enjoy a good Pumpkin Spice Latte in the Fall,Peppermint Mocha or Chestnut Parline Latte in Winter and Iced Hazelnut Cold Brew coffee in Spring and Summer(*side note,I can no longer tolerate milk so I now ask for almond  milk in my coffee if it comes with regular milk or cream and I no longer like it as sweet as I  did growing up something weird happens to your tastebuds when you get near 40🤷‍♀️). Do you have a favorite coffee?

The Heart Changer Blog Tour

Welcome to the Blog Tour & Giveaway for Heart Changer by Jarm Del Boccio with JustRead Publicity Tours!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Title: The Heart Changer
Author: Jarm Del Boccio
Publisher: Ambassador International
Release Date: April 26, 2019
Genre: Middle Grade Biblical Fiction

Can an Israelite captive, wrenched from all she loves, serve the very man who destroyed her village?

Miriam is asked to do the impossible: serve the wife of Naaman, commander of the Syrian army. Clinging to treasured memories of home and faith, Miriam faces captivity with worry and bitterness.

Little does she know the Heart Changer is wooing and preparing her for a greater mission far beyond what she could imagine.

This middle-grade historical novel reflects the heartache and angst of a young refugee in a foreign land where all hope seems lost.
Review:
I absolutely enjoyed this Biblical Fiction story especially since it's such a small account in the massive book of countless stories that Miriam's story may often be overlooked, which makes me admire the author's ability to bring it to life! I'm always intrigued to see Biblical stories come to life in fiction even if they're not totally accurate, which is why it's "fiction", it helps open the eyes of the reader to whole new forgotten worlds of past peoples and culturals. The author did a fantastic job of doing this! I could relate to Miriam and her struggles with her feelings even at a young age. Though I'm an adult and struggle often with feelings of anger and unforgiveness even though I continue to lay it at God's feet, we sometimes forget that children and teens struggle with such feelings due to circumstances beyond their control. Be we have a Loving God who never leaves us or forsakes us and continues to work on changing our hearts, no matter how long it takes, just as He did for Miriam.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Blurb:
The war raging outside is almost as unforgiving and tragic as the battle Eve must fight within herself...
Eve thought landing in the year 1717, in a time of piracy and open sea battle was brutal, but 1777 was far worse. The American colonies may have declared their independence over a year ago, but the Redcoats stubbornly refused to accept defeat. The war continued to rage on, and the battles fought were as acrimonious as they were destructive. Unsurprisingly, Enoch and his siblings were in the thick of it all, siring vampire militias to bolster the Continentals in their quest for true freedom.
To Eve, it quickly became clear that there were more schemes in play off the battlefields than on them, and as usual, she managed to insert herself in the center of the drama. Trouble, she learned, was the one thing that targeted her regardless of time or place. Even though Eve was built for maximum destruction, trouble might be the one thing she couldn’t outrun – no matter how fast she was.

Review:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is my first read from author Heidi Chiavaroli and I was intantly drawn in by her writing. It was truly an enjoyable read. I rarely read books that have dual timelines but when it's done so fluently and flawlessly it's refreshing. This story of two women who deal with love and hardships intertwined with faith.

Praise Fire Priest (Pawn of the Gods, Book 1) by Stephen Murdoch

I found myself really into the book and finished it in two days. I was rooting for Jack and Denny throughout the book, I liked the talking rabbit and I really liked Zolin, the soldier, and his buddies. I hated the Fire Priest and Priestessand found myself reading at the dinner table, hoping Jack would destroy them.I think the world that Stephen created is complex and interesting; I like the references to Mesoamerican culture, history, and names. At first I felt like there were a lot of characters to keep track of, but part way in realized I had them all set in my head and it was all coming together. I'm interested to see what happens in Book 2 of the series. -Helen, Goodreads
Review:
I found it a very interesting story with possible heroes and a few villains that would love to hate. The create a complex and dangerous world where an evil God rules. Can Jack face his fears and fight like his life depended on it...because it just might!
