The Altruist and the Assassin is a standalone fated love fantasy romance tale set in the Kingdom of the White Sea universe, with hints of Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty.
The author has created an intricate world of kingdoms that is epic! This is the 3rd book in the world verse and I'm still totally intrigued and looking forward to more. The issues addressed in this story are on the harsh side but they are realistic. We have violence, abuse, forced marriages, forbidden love, family enemies, broken friendships, secrets and plenty of mystery to uncover. There's also romance and some steamy scenes, growth of characters and redemption. I easily got caught up in the storyline.
