When I read the premise for this book I was totally intrigued...a teenage girl,Haylee, whose striving to be a beauty social media top influencer while ahe also chats and gushes over the reality TV show Spellcaster and one of the hottie hosts. She lives in a world where humans and supernatural creatures coexist along with humans who can practice magic,which Haylee prides herself on being able to do and owning an infamous wand for casting. Her life takes a drastic turn when tragedy strikes and she becomes something that is feared and hated by most. Now she must navigate her new life while trying to protect her cousin and getting out of her uncle’s clutches. She's offered a spot on the new Spellcaster season where she is the underdog but she's determined to come out on top. There's a roller-coaster of emotions,some romantic interests,social status issues,and interesting supernatural creatures/characters will a bit of mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat rooting for Haylee and a cliffhanger that will send you straight to grabbing book 2!
