Is the sure thing worth risking for the possibility of maybe?

Charla Winthrop, a savvy business woman seeking a permanent lifestyle change in small-town Ruby, learns that things aren’t always what they appear when she takes up residence in a house steeped in charm and a hint of mystery. Rumor has it that Sam Packard the town carpenter is her go-to guy for home remodeling, but can Charla convince him to help her—with no strings attached, of course?

Alone far too long, Sam’s prayed that God would send him a wife and a mother for his daughters. However, the new Ruby resident is hardly what he imagined. A new place to call “home,” the possibility of what might be, and the answer to someone’s prayers unite this unlikely pair with the help of the town’s residents.

Nestled in the Ozarks’ hills and hollows is Ruby, Missouri, a quaint, cozy town where “neighbor” is merely another word for “friend.” Ruby will charm and delight as will her quirky, lovable characters who will steal your heart, but hand it right back—with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Savor your new friends’ sorrows and successes in the community where offbeat is perfect and mishaps and mayhem never tasted so good.

Aahh..diving into Her Hope Discovered gave me a "felt like going back home" feeling. A place where everyone knows everyone, faith is important, friendships are nurtured, second chances are given and hope is found. Things aren't easy for our characters and there's heartwrenching emotions they must journey through to find forgiveness, hope and love. Definitely how a romance book should be written!

  4. Great post and I appreciate getting to find out about another great book. Thanks for all you do and for the hard work you put into this. Greatly appreciated!

  5. I like books in a cozy small town like Ruby Missouri. I also live in a rural area and my kids goto school in a nearby small town in North Alabama. Believe me I understand how everyone knows everyone. Many of us have great great grandparents that knew each other for generations back to the 1800s. But that gives us a type of familiar comfort also. Ruby sounds like the perfect setting for a love story.

  6. Gorgeous cover! Thank you for hosting.

  7. I think Ruby, Missouri is the perfect setting for an unexpected love story. The Ozarks a favorite of mine. I spend a year of my younger life as a contractor for the forest service, creating a computer Geographic Info System (GIS) for the all districts of the Ozarks. Now years later I still have a soft spot for the Ozarks. Congrats on your book Cindy!

  8. This book sounds like a great read.
